Cleaning the Carriage Rail on the Brother GT3

(1) Open the printer.

(2) Unscrew the knob on the felt supports and remove them.

(3) Remove and replace the felts on the bottom of the felt supports in accordance with the "Maintenance Parts Exchange".

(4) Take an isopropyl swab or cloth (95% or higher) and clean the rail thoroughly.

(5) Reattach both felt supports and tighten the knob screw.
