(They are attached to the Service Manual.)
(3) Check the print result.
* If many stripes appear just after starting printing as shown below, there may be any crack
inside the Tube of the corresponding color.
* Many stripes will also appear when ink is low or the Tube is bent.
(4) Check the amount of ink and the condition of the Tube (whether the Tube is bent or not).
Follow one of the methods below according to the result of the check.
If the Ink Cartridge weighs 250 g or less:
(1) Replace the Ink Cartridge with the new one.
(2) Clean the Print Head in the “Powerful” mode. (See “2-6-3. Test Print” for how to make the “Head Cleaning”.)
(3) Print the A3-sized solid color pattern data again. If many stripes do not appear on the print result, the problem is solved.
If the Ink-Supply Tube is bent:
(1) Unbend the Ink-Supply Tube.
(2) Clean the Print Head in the “Powerful” mode. (See “2-6-3. Test Print” for how to make the “Head Cleaning”.)
(3) Print the A3-sized solid color pattern data again. If many stripes do not appear on the print result, the problem is solved.
If the Ink Cartridge weighs 250 g or more and the Tube is not bent:
