Epson Industrial F3060 Garment Printer Review

Epson Australia is set to debut its first industrial direct-to-garment (DTG) printer, the SureColor F3060, in Melbourne next month.
Featuring dual printhead technology and a bulk ink pack system, the F3060 provides low ink cost and minimised waste compared to Epson cartridge systems, according to the manufacturer. Epson bills the F3060 as being designed to provide low total cost of ownership, as well as reliability for exceptional performance and savings in high-production print shop environments.
According to Epson, the new printer can produce a full-sized shirt in about a minute, allowing for hundreds of shirts per day, and is being pitched at mid-to-large size garment printers looking for a high-production and cost-effective solution.
The SureColor F3060 can print in full colour plus white on cotton, linen, rayon, and a variety of other fabric types. It uses a new dual 2.6-inch PrecisionCore printhead for one-pass printing at production speeds, and can house 1.5 litres per colour and three litres of white ink for less frequent filling, lower operating costs, and less waste, says Epson.
