Tightening the belt to stop ghosting on Ri100

Sometimes in shipping or in regular use your belt that controls the platen movement might loosen up which creates ghosting or blurred vision prints like the one below.

To tighten the belt you need to get to the left side of the printer on the power plug side.

Take out the two screws that the arrows are pointing too and you will see the Ricoh board and two screws circled in red in the image

Tighten these screws up slightly and do a test print. Repeat until the ghosting is eliminated.
